Ensemble Allsorts is designed for aspiring performers who are ready to take their skills to the next level. Taught by industry professional teachers with experience in the West End, touring, film, and television, this class is focused on refining technique in vocal performance, dance, and acting. Students will engage with more challenging musical theatre material and learn the professional practices required to excel in auditions and performances. Our experienced teachers offer valuable insights into the industry, helping students gain a clear understanding of what it takes to succeed in musical theatre. With personal attention and professional training, students will step into the spotlight with confidence.

What's in Store?

Vocal Technique & Performance: Students will strengthen their vocal abilities through focused training in technique, breath control, and stylistic interpretation. Working with songs from a wide range of musical theatre genres, students will build vocal stamina, range, and expression - developing the skills needed to deliver compelling and confident performances.

Choreography & Dance: Through dynamic and challenging routines, students will explore key styles found in the theatre and dance industries. Classes enhance coordination, rhythm, and physical storytelling, with an emphasis on professional choreography and performance readiness.

Acting & Character Development: With a focus on truthfulness in performance, students will deepen their understanding of character, text, and emotional expression. Through scene work, improvisation, and physical acting, they’ll learn how to embody roles and bring characters to life on stage.

Body Conditioning: Students engage in targeted exercises to improve strength, flexibility, posture, and stamina - essential for supporting demanding choreography and maintaining overall physical wellbeing as a performer.

Ensemble Work & Collaboration: Musical theatre is a team effort. Students will develop ensemble skills, learning how to listen, respond, and work collaboratively in rehearsals and performances - building trust, cooperation, and a shared artistic vision.

Performance Opportunities: Each term includes a minimum of one performance opportunity, though students typically take part in four to five showcases throughout the term. These regular performance moments help build confidence, stage presence, and the ability to apply learned skills in a live setting - an essential part of preparing for the demands of the industry.

Self Development: Beyond performance, Ensemble Allsorts nurtures essential soft skills such as confidence, discipline, focus, communication, empathy, and adaptability. These qualities not only support success on stage but contribute to students’ growth as well-rounded individuals.

Feedback & Personal Growth: To support ongoing development, students receive individual feedback designed to highlight strengths, encourage personal expression, and guide targeted improvement. A dedicated Written Feedback Week provides each student with clear, thoughtful reflections and actionable advice, helping them understand their progress and potential.

Community & Social Events: At Creative Allsorts, we believe in building a strong, supportive community both on and off the stage. Each term, we try to host at least one dedicated social event where students can relax, have fun, and connect with their peers outside of the training environment. From themed parties and theatre trips to team-building activities, these events are designed to strengthen friendships, boost morale, and create a sense of belonging within our community.
Students will leave each class not only as stronger performers, but as more confident, creative, and self-aware individuals - equipped with the tools and mindset to approach challenges with resilience and positivity.
