Rebecca is a professional performer, director and choreographer, and Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Creative Allsorts.

Rebecca trained at the prestigious Performers College in Essex, where she was awarded a musical theatre scholarship, graduating in 2020.

​

Since then, she has worked professionally across stage and screen. Her credits include Mission: Impossible 8, ITV's Pride of Britain Awards, Sky Sports' The Rugby Clash and international commercial campaigns for Yubo and The Mix.

​

Her theatre credits include title and leading roles in UK touring productions of Rapunzel, Alice in Wonderland and The Little Mermaid, alongside Snow White and Cinderella. She has also worked as swing/understudy in Aladdin at The Customs House and performed as Mrs Vernon-Williams in Cry-Baby. Rebecca has also contributed to the development of new musical theatre, including Snowflake and Generations.

 

Alongside performing, Rebecca works professionally as a director and choreographer, creating and developing work for professional productions, theatres and young performers across the UK.

As Artistic Director, Rebecca leads the overall vision and development of Creative Allsorts, overseeing the company's creative programme and operations. Her particular areas of focus are musical theatre, singing and dance, bringing her professional performance and creative experience directly into the training offered across the company.

​

Rebecca leads Ensemble Allsorts and Allsorts Dance Training, as well as coaching Rising Allsorts. She has a particular focus on developing versatile, confident performers who are encouraged to challenge themselves and take their training seriously - without losing the enjoyment and individuality that sits at the heart of Creative Allsorts.

Reece is an experienced producer, director, writer and performer, and Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Creative Allsorts.

Since founding Reece Sibbald Productions in 2006, he has worked professionally across the UK, producing and creating theatre for audiences of all ages.

​

Reece has written more than 250 professional scripts and produced national touring productions including The Wind in the Willows and The Wizard of Oz. His pantomime productions have enjoyed huge success across the North East, including breaking venue box office records.

​

As a performer, Reece has appeared in nine productions at Newcastle Theatre Royal, including his award-winning performance as Baby Bear in Goldilocks and the Three Bears and as Mr Tock in Beauty and the Beast.

A huge part of Reece's career has been dedicated to creating opportunities for young performers. Through his professional productions, he has enabled more than 2,000 children and young people to perform alongside professional casts and experience working in a professional theatre environment.

At Creative Allsorts, Reece brings his extensive experience in acting, directing, production, technical theatre and design to the company. He coaches Rising Allsorts, with a particular focus on developing confident actors and helping students explore character, storytelling and performance.

​

Reece also plays a key role in bringing Creative Allsorts' productions to life, leading the technical and design elements of our work and giving students an insight into the many different elements that come together to create theatre - both onstage and behind the scenes.

Phil has worked across the performing arts for more than 30 years, with experience spanning professional performance, directing, theatre operations and education.

​

Beginning his training at 16, Phil’s early career saw him work behind the scenes at Newcastle Theatre Royal before entertaining audiences as a Butlin’s Redcoat. He moved into professional acting in 1994, performing in pantomimes across the UK before spending several years in London, where he worked at the Prince Edward Theatre alongside appearing in fringe productions including The End of the World Show, Scroggin’s Dome and Brief Encounters on the Penistone Line.

​

After returning to the North East, Phil expanded into directing, working on a wide range of amateur and community productions, with favourites including A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Oklahoma! and The Melody Lingers On.

​

In 2016, Phil retrained as an educator, bringing decades of practical industry and performance experience into the classroom. He is now Assistant Head of Curriculum for Performing Arts at Newcastle College, where he plays a key role in training and supporting the next

generation of performers and creatives.

​

Phil brings a huge amount of experience from both sides of the curtain to Creative Allsorts, combining an understanding of the professional industry with a genuine passion for helping young performers develop their skills, confidence and understanding of theatre.

Rebecca has been part of the Creative Allsorts journey from the very beginning and continues to support the company as a Company Associate.

​

Coming from a conservation and science background, Rebecca holds an MSc in Primate Conservation and a degree in Animal Conservation. She currently works as a university lecturer in primatology and education, alongside continuing her academic development.

​

Despite a career rooted in science and education, Rebecca has always had a creative side. Her friendship with Creative Allsorts Co-Founder Rebecca Lightburn goes all the way back to their school days, where the two could regularly be found creating skits, music videos and performances together.

​

Rebecca has supported Creative Allsorts throughout its development and remains a valued part of the wider company, offering her time, ideas and support across projects and events whenever she can.

​

As one of Creative Allsorts' biggest supporters, Rebecca continues to champion the work of the company and the opportunities it creates for young people.

Lucy the Cockapoo is Creative Allsorts' official mascot and General Dogsbody - and arguably the top dog of the entire team.

​

With extensive experience in cuddles, tail wags and sleeping through important meetings, Lucy plays a vital role in keeping things running behind the scenes.

​

Her responsibilities include supervising rehearsals, boosting team morale, inspecting snacks and offering completely unsolicited creative input. She's also particularly skilled at appearing whenever food is involved and disappearing when there's actual work to be done.

​

Whether she's snoozing under the desk, making an appearance at rehearsals or generally keeping an eye on proceedings, Lucy has been part of the Creative Allsorts journey from the beginning.

​

A valued member of the team, Lucy takes her role as General Dogsbody very seriously - providing there's a treat in it for her.
