Little Allsorts is the perfect first step into the magical world of musical theatre for children aged 3 to 6.

Classes are taught by warm, experienced industry professionals with backgrounds across the West End, touring theatre, film and television. Through singing, dancing, acting and imaginative play, children are gently encouraged to express themselves, explore their creativity and grow in confidence.

No previous experience is needed. Every child is welcomed as they are and supported at their own pace. While children begin learning early performance skills, Little Allsorts is also about helping them find their voice, become more independent and feel comfortable sharing their ideas with others.

What’s in Store?

• Singing & Music Play: Children are introduced to singing through playful warm-ups, memorable songs and rhythm games. They begin developing early musicality while gaining the confidence to use their voices, make different sounds and communicate through music.

• Movement & Dance: Energetic routines, creative movement and simple choreography help children develop coordination, balance and rhythm. They’re encouraged to move freely, explore how music makes them feel and use their bodies to bring characters and stories to life.

• Acting & Imagination: Through drama games, storytelling and imaginative role-play, children can become anyone and travel anywhere! These activities develop creativity and communication while teaching children to use their voices, faces and bodies to express characters, feelings and ideas.

• Creativity & Self-Expression: Children are encouraged to make choices, contribute ideas and use their imaginations without worrying about getting everything “right.” We want them to feel proud of their individuality and confident expressing who they are.

• Confidence & Independence: Each class gives children gentle opportunities to try something new, speak in front of others and complete activities with growing independence. They learn that it’s okay to make mistakes, have another go and celebrate their own progress.

• Teamwork & Social Development: Group activities help children learn to listen, take turns, share space and support one another. They begin building friendships and understanding how to be part of a team - all while developing important social and emotional skills.

• Performances: Throughout the year, children can take part performances, including events for friends, family and the wider community. These special moments allow children to share what they have learned, experience the excitement of performing and feel proud of their achievements.

• Encouragement & Feedback: Every child receives kind, individual encouragement to help them recognise how much they are learning and growing. Families also receive written feedback during the term, celebrating each child’s unique strengths and gently guiding their next steps.

• Community & Social Events: Creative Allsorts is a community as well as a training environment. Each term, we aim to offer at least one social event where students and families can have fun and connect outside of class. These may include themed parties, theatre trips or other shared activities that help create friendships and a real sense of belonging.

Every Little Allsorts class is filled with imagination, laughter and celebration. Whether children are pretending to be jungle animals, dancing like pirates or singing as superheroes, they’re developing confidence, creativity and important personal skills through the joy of play.
