Main Costume
Everyone's "Main Costume" is casual streetwear - something that would be worn for non uniform day at school (with a twist).
The "cliques" listed below are just food for thought to make people look more individual within the narrative of the show. If you think you'd be more comfortable in a different group based on what you have, just reach out and we'll happily make the switch!

"The Brains"
Nancy, Linzi, Mason
Olivia P, Annabelle, Rupert
Sweet, thoughtful, and genuinely excited about the world. The Brains light up when they figure something out and love sharing it, never in a show-off way, just happy to help. They’re curious and kind with a quiet confidence that comes from really knowing their stuff. Lovable problem-solvers who support everyone else.
Costume Ideas: Shirts, sweater vests, waistcoats, trousers braces, skirts, glasses. Neat, thoughtful, and quietly stylish.



"The Punks"
Isla, Olivia S, Darcy R, Harley
Polly, Darcy T, Ollie
Confident, expressive, and proudly different. The Punks do things their own way and don’t care what anyone thinks. There’s an edge to them, but underneath they’re loyal and protective of their own. They bend the rules - not to cause trouble, but to make space for who they are.
Costume Ideas: Leather, denim jackets, belts, boots, bright hair streaks. Dark tones with pops of bright colour. Edgy, expressive, and individual.

"The Athletes"
Stephanie, Phoebe, Kasey
Adam, Jack, Sapphire
Confident, energetic, and always ready for action. The Athletes thrive on teamwork and competition, but they’re also loyal friends and good-humoured leaders. Charismatic and approachable, they’re the kind of people everyone looks up to.
Costume Ideas: Varsity jackets, tracksuits, shorts, baseball vests, trainers. Clean, sporty and confident.



"The Preppies"
Martha, Jess J, Amelia R, Amelia G
Confident, outgoing and in the spotlight. The Preppies are friendly, stylish, and know how to lead a group while staying charming and approachable. Always aware of trends, they set the tone rather than follow it.
Costume Ideas: Fitted tops, blazers cardigans, skirts, dresses, jeans, co-ords. Classic, sharp, and “in the know".



"The Creatives"
Grace, Layla, Katie
Eleanor, Lucie, Lukas
Imaginative, curious, and a little unconventional. The Creatives see the world differently, love experimenting, and aren’t afraid to stand out. They’re warm, thoughtful, and passionate, often inspiring others with their ideas and perspective.
Costume Ideas: Loose layers, oversized shirts, scarves, cardigans, textured fabrics, interesting patterns, dungarees. Artistic, eclectic, and expressive.

"The Hippies"
Lilyann, Ellie, Chloe
Alfie, Evelyn, Pola
Calm, gentle, and easy-going. The Hippies are all about kindness, peace, and going with the flow. They bring a relaxed, positive energy wherever they are, and they care deeply about people and the world around them.
Costume Ideas: Loose dresses, skirts, flares, denim, tie-dye, headscarves, earthy colours mixed with playful patterns. Soft, relaxed, and carefree.



"The Skaters"
Lana, Alex, Peyton
Laid-back, adventurous and rebellious. The Skaters move through life with effortlessly, always chasing the next thrill or challenge. Friendly and independent, they’re drawn to freedom and creativity, often making their own rules along the way.
Costume Ideas: Oversized tshirts, check shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, long sleeves, baggy jeans, layers, trainers, beanies.



"The Storyteller"
Charlotte
Captivating, imaginative, and magnetic. The Storyteller draws people in with their words, whether through jokes, tales, or clever observations. Observant and insightful, they notice the little things others miss and have a natural way of connecting people through stories.
Costume Ideas: Fitted trousers, blouse/shirt, neckerchief. Elegant, expressive, and intriguing.

"The Story Child"
Jessica M
Created rather than born, with no past of their own. The Story Child is curious, open, and quietly observant, absorbing the world and the stories around them. Blank, innocent, and mouldable, they reflect and grow as the narrative unfolds.
Costume Ideas: Completely plain white/neutral with no textures, patterns, or strong colours. A blank canvas. This will evolve gradually throughout the show, reflecting the character’s development and the stories they encounter.

Dance Medley Costume
Everyone’s "Dance Medley" costume is all black - this can double up as base layers undeneath your "Main Costume".
All Rising & Ensemble Allsorts:

Black leotard, top, sports bra, or t-shirt

Long or short sleves

Black leggings/tights (girls) or tight-fitting joggers (boys)

Black socks (with no ankles showing)

Black jazz shoes

No shorts
Amelia R: Brightly coloured leotard, top, sports bra, or t-shirt.

Base Layers
All Little, Rising & Ensemble Allsorts should wear a base layer under their costume to ensure they are never undressed:

Leotard, vest, or t-shirt

Shorts
These layers should be comfortable, well-fitting, and suitable for movement. They act as a foundation under any costume changes.
